Today marked the return of Rudy Giuliani to the show for his second appearance. The next President of the United States opened by elaborating on his Scooter Libby answer that was cut short during the recent GOP debate. On the issue of terrorism, Rudy said the Dems believe Islamic fascism is caused by poverty, but it's really a perverse religious doctrine that spawns it. As some papers have been saying, do we really need Edwards' Peace Corps mentality to fight terror??

Ding-dong the immigration bill is dead -- for now. Senator Byron Dorgan came on to discuss the latest developments on that front. Dorgan wants to determine how to provide reasonable border security and employer sanctions at work. He's really big on the latter issue; just check out his tome in our featured books section.
